Prabin Ranabhat

The Journey

Prabin Ranabhat (b. 1994, Tanahun, Nepal) is a Nepali photojournalist known for his powerful visual storytelling and deep commitment to documenting social realities. His passion for photography began at a young age, and ever since he picked up a camera, he has been capturing compelling moments from the places he travels.

For the past seven years, Prabin has been working with Bizmandu.com, a leading Nepali media outlet, where he covers a wide range of issues including politics, culture, lifestyle, and social injustice. His photographs reflect the voices of communities and the heartbeat of contemporary Nepali society.

Prabin’s work is widely recognized for its strong narrative quality and social impact. In his own words:

“As a photojournalist, I am the mediator to show what is going on in society. If I don’t do it, who will? That motivates me to take pictures every day.”
